Biography

 

Since 1988 Alan has completed over 200 sculptures of retiring executives, patriarchs, matriarchs, disciples, veterans, brides and champion horses. His work has been featured in two exhibitions, Disciples Alive, and Women Through the Ages, where he was recognized as one of the finest portrait sculptors on the East Coast.

In his early career, Alan founded one of the first marketing communications firms in New York State, serving both corporations and universities in the Northeast for almost ten years. He gained recognition for featuring fine art and graphics in printed materials and displays. His work won major awards in national competitions.

Moving to New York City, he became a communications specialist and corporate spokesman for Fortune50 firms, particularly General Electric and AT&T, traveling extensively throughout the US and Europe. During this period, he added sculpting and acting to his itinerary. A life member of Screen Actors Guild, he was featured in over 50 commercials, dozens of training films and a few bit parts in movies.
